Trex Decking Products I (Surface Flaking/Delamination)
On March 16, 2010, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted final approval of the settlement of the surface flaking/delamination claims in Ross et al. v. Trex Company. The settlement provides that class members who own decking or railing product manufactured at Trex's Fernley, Nevada, plant between January 1, 2002, and December 31, 2007, will be eligible for either replacement boards or the cash equivalent for product experiencing surface flaking. Trex has established a website with details on how to identify the product and how to make a claim at http://www.trex.com/legal/classactionsettlement.aspx.
